Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
EMTs provide Basic Life Support (BLS) services to patients in an efficient and professional manner in compliance with EMS and NJ State protocols, policies and procedures. The EMT position requires patient care, driving EMS vehicles, as well as lifting and moving patients and equipment, including lifting of patients onto stretchers and into ambulances. Full time, part time, and per diem shifts are available. A valid NJ EMT/NREMT Certification, driver’s license, and clean motor vehicle record is required.

Mobility Assistance Vehicle Operator (MAVO)
As a MAVO, or wheelchair van driver, you will play a key role in the safe transport of our patients in non-emergency situation and assist patients in/out of the vehicle, utilizing the wheelchair lift as needed. A valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record is required. No experience necessary, Care Plus Medical Services offers MAVO training on-site.

Medical Transport Dispatcher
Dispatchers play a key role as the first line of response in emergent and non-emergent calls. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating the duties of EMTs, EMRs, and MAV Drivers during transport; Being courteous and professional to patients, facility employees, co-workers, supervisors and the public at all times; Receiving, prioritizing and dispatching calls in computer aided dispatch software (CAD); Intaking large volume of calls to determine appropriate level of EMS response required. Prior medical transport dispatch experience is preferred, but not required.
